Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent (ST4). The role involves delivering engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4, developing students' confidence in numeracy and mathematical reasoning, and preparing them for GCSE examinations.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Maths education, a confident classroom practitioner, and committed to supporting student progress. The position offers full-time hours starting October 2026 across the ST4 area.

Qualifications

• Qualified Maths Teacher capable of delivering engaging lessons.
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving instruction for KS3/KS4.
• Ability to provide constructive pupil feedback and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3/KS4 students.
• Help students develop confidence in numeracy and mathematical reasoning.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support academic achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all learners.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and staff.
