Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with an OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in Bury to recruit a Maths Teacher for a long-term, full-time post from October. You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons and maintain high standards of behaviour.

The school seeks a qualified Maths teacher with QTS, strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management and a proactive, adaptable approach. Competitive pay and ongoing CPD support are provided.

Qualifications

• The successful Maths Teacher will have QTS with a Maths specialism.
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management with the ability to manage behaviour effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and syllabus requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills for pupil progress reporting.
• A positive, adaptable approach to teaching and student engagement.

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful Maths Teacher will teach Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high standards of classroom management and supporting student progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
