TeacherActive is partnering with a Stoke-on-Trent school to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The role is full‑time and long‑term from September, with potential for permanency.

Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date: September
Salary: £160 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The school is committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and problem‑solving skills.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full‑time, long‑term basis from September, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Maths Teacher will plan, prepare and deliver engaging curriculum‑aligned lessons, assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, maintain excellent classroom management and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK school
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong planning, assessment and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
