Job summary

Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school in Bury to recruit a Maths Teacher for a September start. You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students to build confidence and achieve strong outcomes.

There may be occasional cover duties; you will plan, assess, and monitor progress, and work with colleagues to support school priorities. A competitive daily rate of £168-£232 is on offer, with DBS checks and safeguarding in line with KCSIE.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Confident managing classrooms and engaging learners of varying abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable in supporting wider school needs.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

September Start 08:30 - 15:30 £168 - £232 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and adaptable Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in education?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Bury seeking a dedicated Maths specialist to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality Maths lessons while also being flexible enough to provide general classroom cover when required.

The successful candidate will primarily teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and achieve strong academic outcomes. There may also be occasions where you are asked to undertake Cover Supervisor responsibilities, delivering pre-planned lessons across other subject areas in the absence of teaching staff.
