Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' mainstream secondary school in Bury. They are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team and contribute to a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The role is full-time and long-term from October, teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4, with planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high standards of classroom management and supporting student progress.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3/KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and support student progression.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and progression.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful Maths Teacher will teach Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high standards of classroom management and supporting student progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:
