Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Derby secondary school to appoint a Maths Teacher. The role is full-time and long-term, supporting learners aged 11 to 16. You will plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons, mark student work and prepare learners for GCSE examinations.

Strong planning, marking and classroom management skills are essential, along with a positive and adaptable approach. A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience is required.

Salary: £174 to £2430 per day

Can you confidently prepare students for their GCSE Maths examinations?

Do you have strong planning, marking and classroom management skills?

The successful Maths Teacher will work on a full-time, long-term basis, supporting learners aged 11 to 16. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging GCSE Maths lessons, marking students work and preparing learners for their GCSE examinations.

The successful Maths teacher will have:

• A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience
