Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) to recruit a Maths Teacher for a long-term temporary role with an immediate start. You will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range, manage pupil behaviour and support students to achieve strong progress. QTS with Maths specialism is required, NQTs welcome.

Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

The school is looking to appoint a passionate Maths Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students to make strong academic progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching
