Job summary

Trust Education Limited is recruiting qualified Maths, English and Science tutors for an exciting pilot at a Barnsley secondary school. You will deliver in-person sessions, each 2 hours, helping students reach GCSE grades 7–9.

The role centers on small-group tutoring, building tailored, challenging work, and supporting students from October half-term through the GCSE exams. Additional hours may be offered as exams approach, with consultant support throughout placement.

• Be a qualified Maths, English or Science teacher/tutor.
• Be confident supporting students aiming for the highest GCSE grades.
• Be able to plan engaging and challenging work tailored to students' individual needs.
• Be reliable, committed and passionate about helping students succeed.

Trust Education are currently recruiting qualified Maths, English and Science tutors for an exciting opportunity at a secondary school in Barnsley, working as part of a unique pilot scheme.

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference by supporting small groups of students who are aiming to achieve the highest GCSE grades (7–9) and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role

You will be delivering in-person tutoring sessions at the school, with each session lasting 2 hours. The focus will be on supporting students aiming for grades 7–9 at GCSE.

The school will provide guidance on the areas they feel students need to focus on, but tutors will be responsible for planning and setting challenging work for students to complete. Additional hours may also be available as the GCSE exams approach.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified Maths, English or Science teacher/tutor.
• Be confident supporting students aiming for the highest GCSE grades.
• Be able to plan engaging and challenging work tailored to students' individual needs.
