Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a GCSE Tutor to deliver 1:1 Maths and English tuition (GCSE level) in a flexible, part-time role. Sessions run 9am–3pm during term-time, with up to 20 hours per week. Pay is GBP25-GBP30 per hour, depending on experience, and DBS updates or willingness to apply are required.

Essential: at least 2 years of GCSE tutoring and a strong grasp of Maths and English GCSE curricula. QTS is desirable but not essential for candidates with solid tutoring background.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience.
• Strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English.
• QTS is desirable but not essential for those with solid GCSE tutoring experience.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Driving licence & vehicle access preferred.

Responsibilities
