A dedicated secondary school in St Helens is seeking a passionate Maths and Numeracy Tutor to join their team. The role involves delivering targeted support to KS3 and KS4 students, focusing on building confidence and overcoming learning barriers. The successful candidate will have a degree in Maths or a closely related subject and strong communication skills. This full-time position is on a fixed-term contract until August 2026, with applications open until January 9, 2026.
Are you passionate about helping young people develop confidence and succeed in Maths? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and Numeracy Tutor to join our team. You will work closely with students who need targeted support to strengthen their numeracy skills, build confidence, and overcome barriers to learning. This is a rewarding role where you will see the impact of your work every day.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils that may have encountered barriers to learning by delivering quality maths tuition sessions to small groups and 1‑1 individual learning. You will provide intervention to enable students to build confidence and access targeted support.
This position is offered on a full‑time, fixed‑term contract until 31st August 2026 and is subject to continued Pupil Premium funding.
