Job summary

Greenbank High School is seeking a dedicated Mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4. The role includes acting as a Personal Tutor, monitoring student progress through data and supporting pupils’ personal development.

You will engage with students, parents and staff to uphold high standards, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and contribute to the school’s ethos and policy framework. A strong commitment to pupil achievement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3/KS4.

Teaching and Learning

• Teach Mathematics at Key stage 3 and 4
• Monitor data and identify emerging needs from student data
• Consistently deliver well-planned lessons that achieve high outcomes
• Liaise with students, staff and parents as required to ensure high standards
• As a form tutor, support the personal development of pupils
• Manage behaviour effectively of children within classrooms and around the school
• Understand and fulfil the requirements of school policies
• Support the departmental pupil premium and more able strategies
• Support in transition from Key stage 2 and post 16 options
