Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Maths teacher to join a thriving school community. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, support pupils including those with SEN, and contribute to a culture of high attainment and inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will have QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) and proven experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary setting, with strong classroom and behaviour management skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Maths teacher with UK-recognised credential.
• Experience delivering Maths across KS3/KS4.
• Experience using adaptive teaching strategies for varied abilities.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the current Mathematics curriculum.
• Experience using adaptive teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all compliance procedures.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
