Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is recruiting a Perinatal Safety Improvement Programme Project Officer to support the Maternity & Neonatal team. The role coordinates multiple workstreams, manages project plans and prepares reports for boards, ensuring timely delivery of improvement initiatives.

You will work with senior managers, clinicians and partners, applying project management methods (APM/PRINCE2 or AgilePM) and using tools such as Monday.com to track progress and share

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• The Project Officer is responsible for the operational management of the Maternity & Neonatal Services Improvement Programme, providing project and administration support to Senior Project Manager and Lead Midwife, Quality Improvement.
• Demonstrate outstanding motivational skills and influencing skills in driving the work forward, encouraging collaborative working throughout.
• Prepare and circulate monthly Maternity & Neonatal Improvement Programme papers to all CMG, and attend internal and external meetings as required.
