Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a proactive professional to lead the Maternity & Neonatal Services Improvement Programme. You will build positive working relationships across CMGs and partner organisations, produce and circulate briefing papers, and drive project delivery with a patient-centered focus.

You will manage communications with internal/external stakeholders, prepare reports for Boards, and progress multiple work streams within an NHS context, ensuring timely

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Commitment to on-going learning/training.
  • Project Management qualification.
  • Significant experience of working in partnership and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across a health and social care economy.
  • Supporting business case development experience.
  • Patient-centric approach to service development, planning and improvements.
  • Experience delivering a service improvement or project within a changing environment.
  • Line management experience.
  • Good understanding of NHS systems, processes and current NHS developments and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain forward-looking work-programme for Maternity & Neonatal Services Improvement.
  • Work under own initiative to resolve issues and manage workload requirements.
  • Be the first point of contact for internal and external queries on the Maternity & Neonatal Services Improvement Programme.
  • Summarise key messages for Board and Committee meetings and circulate weekly.
  • Prepare delegated papers, project plans, and coordinate agendas for Programme Boards.
  • Gather data from multiple sources and present information accessibly to a multidisciplinary audience.
  • Attend meetings and report back actions to the team.
  • Support project delivery activities and key work streams.
