Job summary

The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a maternity coordinator role. The post works with the Senior Maternity Management Team to ensure women and birthing people have a voice within the service and to integrate patient views into governance and improvements.

This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months, focusing on coordinating debriefing, complaints handling and engagement activities to influence future directions of the maternity service.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
• Degree level qualification in Midwifery or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interface between women, birthing people, families and the maternity management team.
• Embed patient views into governance and processes.
• Coordinate debriefing service and complaints.
• Lead listening and outreach events to ensure voices are heard and influence change.
