Advanced Innergy Solutions Ltd in Skelmersdale is seeking a Materials Science Manager to lead the Materials Technologist team and drive technical leadership in polymers, composites and advanced materials.

You will develop strategies, oversee material testing and failure analysis, and collaborate with customers, suppliers and universities to deliver innovative solutions and improve manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a materials science, polymer science or related technical leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop high-performing technical teams.
• Technical expertise in polymers, composites, elastomers or other advanced material systems.
• Strong knowledge of material testing, qualification and failure analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical business solutions.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and deliver results within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Materials Technologist team with technical leadership and performance管理.
