Job summary

Advanced Innergy Solutions Ltd in Skelmersdale is seeking a Design Engineer to support the Engineering Team. The role involves delivering design activities across the Business Group, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and engineering standards.

You will also drive design method improvements, prepare technical presentations, and provide broader technical support to production and suppliers. A manufacturing environment background and strong analytical skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (BEng(Hons) or MEng(Hons) or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience conducting analytical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering Team Manager with design engineering cover across the Business Group and CRP as needed.
• Perform design engineering activities on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, company standards and recognised engineering standards.
• Improve product design methods and procedures.
• Generate technical presentations for internal and external use.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are correct and complete.
• Provide technical support for products and production plant/equipment as required.
• Assist in communicating technical data to customers and subcontractors.
• Interface with Supply Chain and Operations as needed.
• Engage in company-wide improvement initiatives.
