Job summary

Material Handler in Bridgwater, England, is a temporary-to-permanent role in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with an immediate start and a salary of £16.02 per hour. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off (days 7am–7pm, nights 7pm–7am) with on-site location in Bridgwater, Somerset.

You will handle raw materials, operate grinding equipment, and process materials. The role includes forklift duties (15%) and broader duties (85%) within a noisy, manual environment.

Qualifications

• Available to start soon and are looking for long term work.
• Good level of organisation.
• A counterbalance licence is a must and happy with in house certificate.
• Quick learner.
• Strong work ethic and professional approach.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to work both days and nights on a 4 shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Picking raw materials and moving around the site with bags that are 2.2 metres.
• Using the machines to grind trays and sheets.
• Processing materials.
• Taking material out and moving and then putting into the bags.
• Lifting bags onto the platform.
• Will be multi skilled role where 15% of the time you will be using the forklift and 85% of the time the role will be a mixture of duties.
• Working within a noisy environment.
• This role will be a very manual role.
