Job summary

Precision People in Leicester is seeking a skilled Material Handler for a busy manufacturing site. This temp-to-perm role offers a £14.00 per hour rate with an immediate start and steady hours Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00.

You will receive, inspect, and store stock, supply materials to the shop floor (aluminium, stainless, mild steel sheets), maintain inventory, label offcuts, and coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Experienced Material Handler with shop-floor exposure.
• Experience in an engineering company.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and put away stock.
