Job summary

Bristol Industrial is seeking a Materials Handler (Manufacturing) at Golborne location. The role involves ensuring efficient control and flow of raw materials to production, working closely with team members to mitigate material impacts on plans.

Candidates should have experience in fast-paced manufacturing, be a strong team player with good communication, and hold a valid FLT license or be willing to train. Health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Control raw materials to optimize flow to production.
• Support line technician with material changes as required.

• Ensure all duties are performed in line with good H&S practices.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure material flow aligns with the production plan.

Materials Handler (Manufacturing)

Golborne Location

Shift Basis: Including both days & nights – 12-hour shifts

Main purpose of the role

To ensure the control and flow of raw materials to the production department is optimized. Works closely with other team members to mitigate any material impacts on the production plan.

We now need to strengthen our team and have the below requirement of a Materials Handler:

• To ensure the control of raw material is optimized for the department


• Support line technician with material changes


• Loading and unloading of materials for the department (use of FLT)


• Ensure all areas within the job scope are maintained to high level of housekeeping


• To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good H&S practice


• Works with other departments to ensure the material flow is in accordance with the production plan

Experience Required:

• Previously held a position within a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment ideally supporting movement of products and/or materials


• Excellent team player and can communicate effectively


• Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures within a busy manufacturing environment

Preferable:

• Hold valid FLT license / Counterbalance (training provided if needed)
