Job summary

Terex in Ballymoney is seeking a Material Handler to support a dynamic production team on a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday. You will ensure a smooth flow of materials to production, operate PIT equipment safely, and uphold inventory controls in a fast-moving manufacturing setting.

Reporting to Production Supervisors, you will work with colleagues to meet delivery targets, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
  • Valid PIT license is required.
  • Understanding of inventory control and English language.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials.
  • Deliver parts to production accurately and promptly.
  • Operate PIT equipment safely, including pallet stacker.
  • Process parts from Cutting Shop and Stores for fabrication.
  • Maintain inventory control and follow environmental procedures.
  • Follow standard work and perform general housekeeping.

Job Description: Join our Team: Material Handler Ballymoney 4 day week - Monday to Thursday. Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Material Handler to contribute to the Ballymoney team.

Reporting to Production Supervisors/Materials Team Lead, you will work as part a team to handle materials in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to Production.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
  • Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
  • Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Pallet Stacker
  • Processing of Parts to fabrication received from both Cutting Shop and from Stores
  • Compliance with inventory control measures
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following Standard Work procedures
  • General Housekeeping Duties
Experience and Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment
  • Valid PIT license
  • Understanding of Inventory Control
  • Good understanding of English Language
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
