Job summary

Terex Omagh invites applications for a Night Shift Machine Shop Material Handler based in Omagh. You will barcode, scan, and move parts, checklists to ensure readiness, and use a pallet truck to supply the Machine Shop.

You will ensure materials are loaded safely and stored properly while supporting production and continuous improvement. This role is part of a global leader committed to safety, quality, and inclusion, offering a 39-hour week with a night shift premium and opportunities to

Responsibilities

  • Barcode and scan parts and place in collection bins.
  • Complete checklist to ensure all parts required are present.
  • Operate a pallet truck to supply materials into the Machine Shop.
  • Ensure materials loaded are correct and transported safely.
  • Efficiently stack and store products in appropriate areas.
  • Support the Press brake production process.
  • Assist with material supply to the production area.
  • Work within a team to develop continuous improvement.
  • Complete daily safety checks and maintain a tidy, hazard-free area.
  • Maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Job Description: Join our Team: Machine Shop Material Handler (Night Shift) Location: Omagh Hours: 39 Hour Week. Monday – Thursday 6:00pm - 4:15am Shift premium applicable.

Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Material Handler to contribute to our Machine Shop team. As a Material Handler at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you’ll do:
  • Barcoding and scanning parts and placing in collection bins
  • Complete checklist to ensure all parts required are present
  • Operate a pallet truck to ensure a continuous supply of Material into the Machine Shop area
  • Ensure that materials loaded are correctly and transported safely
  • Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
  • Supporting other team members with the Press brake production process
  • Assisting with the supply of material to the production area
  • Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
  • To complete daily safety checks to ensure work area is tidy and free from hazards
  • To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
