A leading defense contractor in Wales is seeking a full-time Materials Coordinator to join their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating material management, ensuring timely delivery to support production. The ideal candidate will possess strong MRP knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Materials Coordinator to join our established team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £29,520 to £33,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team based at our Merthyr ( South Wales ) facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders. You will report functionally to the Master Scheduler and Planning manager and your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our SCM, warehouse and production teams, field service representatives and programme to ensure timely, cost-effective management of materials to the shop floor to support the retrofit plans and to manage material control throughout the whole process including fulfilling requirements within the plan. In this position you will take a lead role coordinating and planning the daily workload to adhere to the retrofit plans.
