Carlisle Support Services is recruiting for a Matchday Security Officer to help protect Burnley FC's Turf Moor and other venues. You’ll receive full training, a competitive hourly rate, and flexibility to book shifts around your commitments.

Key duties include guiding the public, bag checks, monitoring crowds, and ensuring licensing and safety compliance during match and event days. Prior security experience is helpful.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold SIA Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
• Ideally some experience in events or customer care.
• Level 2 Spectator Safety or willingness to obtain (funded).
• Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues (desirable).

The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our client, Burnley FC. If this sounds like you, and you’re willing to learn new skills to develop your career, we promise to provide full training and all the support you’ll need to help you to succeed.

Location: Turf Moor- Home of Burnley FC (BB10 4BX) with opportunities to cover shifts at, Accu Stadium (Huddersfield),Elland Road (Leeds), Old Trafford (Manchester), Manchester Central Convention Centre (Manchester).

Pay: £14.75 per hour

Hours: Working on a casual basis on match/event days you have the ability to be flexible around your current commitments.(5-7 hours per shift)

Please be aware that this is nota full time role, colleagues have the flexibility to choose and book their own shifts for home games or Ad-hoc events at the stadium

There will be a minimum of 23 home games between August and May with potential for additional shifts depending on how the football season pans out

Football and events take place evenings and weekends only.

Your core role will be to ensure the safety and security of everyone in Turf Moor this could include, but not limited to;

• Provide general guidance to the public
• Conducting person and bag searching
• Supporting the stadium to adhere to its licensing conditions and safety certificate
• Directing spectators and monitoring crowds
• Responding to security or crowd management issues

Is this you

• SIA Door Supervision licence- Required
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience an events environment or a customer care role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Level 2 certificate in Spectator Safety, or willingness to obtain the qualification (This will be a requirement if hired, but we will fund this for you)
• Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues across the region (desirable)

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid sharecode.
