Ministry of Sound is seeking a senior marketing leader to develop and drive the brand's strategy across workspace memberships, club events and campaigns. You will oversee content, communications and paid media, collaborating with sales, events and creative teams to deliver measurable growth.
You will manage agencies and budgets, lead a small team, and ensure campaigns align with brand values while delivering commercial value. This role is based in London and involves hands-on leadership.
Описание: Ministry of Sound opened in 1991 in a disused bus garage in a forgotten corner of South London. It was the first nightclub in the UK to have a 24-hour licence, didn’t serve alcohol and featured an earth-shaking sound system in a specially constructed dance box. We went on to become the world’s largest independent record company, now with Sony, and stage giant dance events. We were pioneers in electronic music and have a history of taking risks, innovation, and colourful and creative marketing.
You will develop and deliver The Ministry marketing strategy, ensuring all activity supports key commercial objectives, including workspace memberships, club memberships, hot desk memberships, meeting room enquiries, event enquiries, customer retention and brand awareness. You will lead marketing campaigns from initial brief through to delivery, establishing clear target audiences, messaging, timelines, budgets and measurable success criteria. Using insight, data and performance reporting, you will continually refine and optimise marketing activity, identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness, increase engagement and drive commercial growth. You will position The Ministry as a distinctive workspace, members club, hospitality and events destination within SE1. You will be responsible for overseeing member communications, ensuring emails, newsletters, event marketing and community updates are engaging, consistent and aligned with the brand while delivering commercial value. Working closely with the sales and membership teams, you will seek opportunities to improve lead quality, increase conversion rates and enhance the overall customer journey. You will play a key role in strengthening member engagement and supporting the continued growth of The Ministry community. You will provide agreed marketing support for Jai Dog Rescue, helping to deliver key fundraising, awareness and supporter engagement initiatives. This will include developing campaigns and content that communicate the charity's impact, encourage donations and strengthen relationships with supporters. You will oversee or support website updates, newsletters, social media content, campaign assets and storytelling initiatives that help bring Jai Dog Rescue's work in Thailand to life. You will ensure all communications are accurate, sensitive and reflect the charity's purpose, values and tone of voice. You will oversee content creation and delivery across social media, email marketing, websites, paid media channels and event listings. As the line manager for the Content & Social Producer, you will set objectives, manage performance, establish key performance indicators and support ongoing development. You will maintain high standards of brand consistency, copywriting and content quality across all marketing activity. You will remain informed on emerging trends, audience behaviours and creative formats, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, reach and overall campaign performance. You will lead paid media activity across relevant channels, ensuring investment delivers maximum reach, engagement, lead quality and return on investment. You will manage agencies, freelancers, media partners and suppliers, holding them accountable for delivering agreed objectives, budgets and timelines. You will regularly review campaign performance, optimising creative assets, audience targeting, media spend and partnership activity to improve results. You will also manage public relations agencies as required, ensuring PR activity supports wider commercial and brand objectives. You will be responsible for managing relevant marketing budgets, ensuring spend is effectively allocated against agreed priorities and performance objectives. You will provide regular reporting and performance updates to stakeholders and the Senior Leadership Team, using data and insight to demonstrate impact and identify opportunities for improvement. You will use reporting to identify issues, make recommendations and ensure marketing activity remains accountable to agreed commercial and engagement targets. You will operate as a senior, hands-on marketing leader, taking responsibility for strategy, campaign delivery, team leadership and problem solving. You will build strong and collaborative relationships across sales, operations, events, creative, finance, agency partners and senior stakeholders. You will set high standards for planning, execution, communication and accountability, while contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Experience managing team members against objectives and key performance indicators is essential, as are excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills. Будет плюсом: Experience within hospitality, members clubs, coworking, events, lifestyle, culture, entertainment or charity marketing environments would be advantageous.
