A fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications team at The Alexandra, Birmingham. The Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for the Marketing and Communications Assistant, playing a key role in implementing effective marketing campaigns.
As Marketing Manager, you will plan and deliver marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales and revenue, nurture the audience base, and collaborate within the venue and with ATG’s central Marketing team. You will serve as the main contact for producers and marketing agencies in developing and delivering campaigns, and identify sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
Over the last 18 months, we have worked on marketing and communications strategies for major theatre shows including The Book of Mormon, Pretty Woman, An Officer and a Gentleman, and the world premiere of Here & Now - The Steps Musical. Our programming also includes drama, music, comedy, and venue activities such as free monthly lunchtime concerts. This vacancy comes at a crucial time as we prepare for a busy autumn featuring The Bodyguard, Miss Saigon, and a four-week Christmas run of Fiddler on the Roof.
The Alexandra in Birmingham is a receiving house presenting musicals, drama, comedy, and more. It contributes significantly to Birmingham and the West Midlands' cultural scene, welcoming over 300,000 visitors annually.
