Job Description

As our marketing manager, you will lead the design and delivery of the digital strategy for the Freedom and Toast brands. You will combine data-led insights and creative, innovative content to elevate the brands online, and achieve wider, smarter reach and deeper engagement with our target audiences.

Digital Strategy & Execution - You will lead the evolution of the digital strategies for the Freedom and Toast brands and be responsible for the marketing budget. This includes owning the social media strategy, with an initial focus on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, expanding to include TikTok.

Social Media Management & Content Creation - You will lead the day to day execution of the social media strategy for both brands. This includes monthly content planning, fresh content creation (copywriting, videography, photography that appeals to the target audiences), scheduling of posts and community engagement (managing DMs, engaging with aligned accounts etc). To create content, you would be expected to attend key events and visit outlets with the sales team.

Influencer & Brand partnerships, and PR - You will continue to nurture the relationships already built by each brand, and develop new partnerships to optimize earned media opportunities. You will also manage PR, including inbound queries and the drafting and management of press releases for key campaigns.

Website content and email management - You will work closely with our brand manager to create content for newsletters, blog posts and other website content, including supporting with Search Engine Optimisation.

Analysis & Reporting - You will analyse the performance of our digital strategy, implement changes from the learnings and own the dashboard to report KPIs to key internal stakeholders. You will also lead ongoing digital brand research and establish a listening tool to gather insight to inform the evolution of the brand plans and campaigns.

Other internal support - internal comms and culture development (including educating the team social media), investor comms, and comms for events.

Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in creating and leading digital marketing strategies, with an ability to manage multiple brand identities.
  • 5+ years’ experience of digital and social media marketing, preferably in an FMCG environment, including creating digital social campaigns that engage, inform and motivate purchase.
  • 2+ years’ experience in other areas of brand marketing/comms with a good general marketing understanding and awareness including managing email marketing.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce is beneficial
  • Highly motivated and creative with a passion for great beer, brewing and with purpose driven brands
  • Entrepreneurial and influential with good communication and networking skills
  • Experienced at project, budget and agency management.
  • Exceptionally organized and proactive
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent written, copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Enjoy keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing

Location: London. We are a flexible employer and support hybrid working.
