Oxford Nanopore Technologies is headquartered at the Oxford Science Park outside Oxford, UK, with satellite offices and a commercial presence in many global locations across the US, APAC and Europe.

We're currently seeking a Market Segment Manager for Biopharma. This strategic, global role is passionate about driving the adoption of ONT sequencing across the biopharmaceutical value chain, from discovery to development and manufacturing.
The successful candidate will lead segment marketing strategy and commercial initiatives across critical application areas, such as biomarker discovery, cell, gene, and RNA therapies, synthetic biology, and quality control in bio-manufacturing. They will play a key role in defining the biopharma market narrative, identifying growth opportunities, and positioning Oxford Nanopore as a progressive technology for both research and regulated environments.

This role requires a deep understanding of biopharma workflows, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics, along with the ability to navigate scientific and operational challenges faced by customers in this space. Success will depend on close collaboration with commercial, product management, business development, and applications teams, as well as external partners, to align Oxford Nanopore sequencing solutions with evolving industry needs.
