About our Team:

Reporting to the International Market Development Manager and collaborating with Sales and Marketing, this role is vital to our success and is a core part of the Demand Generation team.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Market Development Representative to manage, develop, and expand the qualified lead volume and sales pipeline. This role involves qualifying inbound inquiries to assess sales readiness, generating demand through email, social media, and calls to target accounts, and scheduling initial meetings for sales. It also includes supporting in-person and virtual events through pre- and post-event outreach. This position is often the first point of contact for prospects interested in LexisNexis Risk Solutions and sets the tone for the sales cycle and ongoing relationships.

Key qualities for success include professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently while building strong relationships with global team members and sales stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Qualify inbound leads and conduct outreach via phone, email, social media, and chat to engage prospects and schedule meetings.
  2. Support demand generation by promoting and following up on events.
  3. Capture and document insights from conversations to ensure CRM accuracy and provide marketing feedback.
  4. Build strong relationships with Sales and Marketing to ensure lead quality and pipeline conversion.
  5. Maintain a structured prospecting cadence and meet activity and conversion targets.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in sales, marketing, or customer-focused roles.
  2. Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach.
  4. Experience with CRM and sales tools like Salesforce, Eloqua, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
  5. Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  6. A team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
