Aspion is seeking a Ships Agent / Logistics Coordinator based in Ellesmere Port. The role involves coordinating vessel port calls from arrival through departure, and working closely with Masters, owners, charterers and port authorities to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ships agency or port/marine operations and strong IT skills. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and flexibility to work outside standard hours are advantageous.

Formación

• Experience in ships agency, port ops or marine logistics.
• Good understanding of port operations and vessel movements.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient IT skills; SAP Ariba or Unify beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Co-ordinate vessel port calls from arrival to departure.
• Arrange port services (pilotage, towage, linesmen).
• Liaise with vessel Masters, owners, charterers and operators.
• Coordinate crew changes and transport.
• On-site operational support at Humber Port.
• Prepare and maintain vessel and port documentation.
• Prepare port call cost estimates and quotations.
• Support invoicing and voyage records.
• Keep customers updated during calls.
• Ensure calls are safe and compliant.
