Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering with 3+ years field service experience.
• Willingness to travel UK and offshore up to 200 days/year.
• Very good English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on engines and systems.
• Willingness to work in the UK and abroad as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and basic troubleshooting.
• Adhere to local work instructions for overhaul of components.
• Ensure on-site activities follow safety rules and H&S obligations.
• Liaise with On-Site Team Leader/Service Coordinator for progress and deadlines.
• Interact with customers on site for enquiries and technical queries.
• Promote Wärtsilä products and solutions to customers.
• Submit timesheets and expense sheets weekly.
• Submit accurate service reports within 48 hours of return.
• Be adaptable to ad-hoc duties and maintain high satisfaction.
