Wallace Hind Selection Ltd is seeking a field-based Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer to install, commission, fault find and repair instrumentation, PLC control and automation systems across the UK.

The role offers an excellent salary with significant overtime, a company vehicle, annual bonus, and private healthcare. Projects include travel to Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle and Maldon with potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical/electronic service or maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Practical grasp of electronic engineering; instrumentation knowledge a plus and PLC understanding preferred.
• Willing to travel and stay away as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and refit electrical/electronic systems across the UK.
• Fault finding and repair of instrumentation, PLC controls and automation equipment.
• Work on international projects occasionally with UK work 80% and UK travel 10–14 days per site.
