Job summary

Ibstock Nostell Factory in West Yorkshire is seeking a Technical Manager to lead a multi-skilled team, champion health and safety, quality and CI, and optimise materials, assets and production processes.

You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, manage budgets, develop people, ensure regulatory compliance and site sustainability, and collaborate with group support to deliver world-class manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading health & safety, quality, sustainability and CI initiatives.
• Experience managing ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Strong leadership, budgeting and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives and production improvements to meet KPIs.
• Own H&S governance, audits, investigations and incident reviews.
• Develop the site budget and monitor financial performance.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
• Coordinate NPD and supplier collaboration to enhance products.
