Job summary

Ibstock Plc is recruiting a Technical Manager to lead our Nostell Factory team in West Yorkshire. You will inspire a multi-skilled workforce, champion health and safety, sustainability and continuous improvement, and optimise processes from raw material supply through to finished product.

As a senior operations leader, you will drive CI initiatives, manage budgets, lead H&S and quality assurance, and collaborate with Group support teams on NPD and site improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Has knowledge of current Health & Safety, Quality, Sustainability and Employment legislation; NEBOSH/IOSH accreditations preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality accreditation.
• Strong leadership with pragmatic, resilient approach and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health & Safety culture across site and drive audits.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and cost‑control across function.
• Manage annual functional budget and capital expenditure planning.
• Oversee Kiln and Dryer operations and associated equipment.
• Coordinate new product development with Group support teams and drive site improvements.
