Job summary

AkzoNobel, a leading coatings producer, seeks a Manufacturing Support Operator in Ashington to assist production, manage materials, and follow SOPs. You’ll contribute to Health, Safety and Quality improvements in a modern plant while learning new competencies in a supportive team.

The role runs on annualised 12-hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Pay is £13.43 per hour plus a weekly shift allowance of £169.42.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your work, your safety, and the safety of your colleagues.
• Follow HSE rules and procedures for all tasks.
• Maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate within systems and procedures safely, using escalation processes effectively.
