Job summary

Axalta in Wellingborough, UK is seeking a Manufacturing Operator on PM Shift to manufacture formulations and meet production targets safely and to quality standards.

You will operate mixing equipment, maintain housekeeping, participate in daily briefings and continuous improvement, rotate across manufacturing, and support team targets. GCSE/NVQ2 or equivalent, maths/english, and forklift license are desirable along with teamwork.

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or 3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
• Maths and English qualification preferred; competent in numeracy to read and interpret data.
• Forklift truck license holder.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing and associated equipment.
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.
• Participate and contribute to daily briefings, MDI boards Tier 1.
• Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.
• Operate safely across all manufacturing areas with rotation as needed.
• Support the team to deliver consistent results and develop own skills.
• Apply continuous improvement tools in daily work and participate in improvement teams.
