Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Manufacturing Support Operative for our Ashford facility. The role ensures materials are replenished, deliveries are unloaded, and the production area remains compliant with GMP and safety standards.

You will operate forklifts, handle waste streams, and support production while maintaining high housekeeping standards. The position requires a full UK driving licence, a counterbalance FLT licence, and physical fitness, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Physical fitness due to manual handling requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to work and shifts.
• Commitment to health & safety and GMP compliance.
• Previous manufacturing or GMP experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Pack material replenishment across site.
• Transport drums, pallets and IBCs between locations.
• Unload deliveries using a forklift truck.
• Manage waste streams and housekeeping in manufacturing/storage areas.
• Operate wash equipment and conduct quality/safety checks.
• Support production operations and maintain safe working practices.
