Job summary

Apleona is recruiting a Manufacturing Support Operative at our Ashford facility (TN24 0LT). The role covers packaging material replenishment, transporting drums, pallets and IBCs, unloading deliveries with a forklift, waste management, wash equipment operation, quality and safety checks, and housekeeping across manufacturing and storage areas.

You will join a 37.5-hour week with a rotating pattern of early, late and night shifts, supporting GMP compliance and production operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Physical fitness due to manual handling requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to work and shift patterns.
• Commitment to health & safety and GMP compliance.
• Previous manufacturing or GMP experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Packaging material replenishment.
• Transporting drums, pallets and IBCs across site.
• Unloading deliveries using a forklift truck.
• Managing waste streams.
• Operating wash equipment.
• Conducting quality and safety checks.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
• Support production operations and ensure safe working practices.
