Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced site-based HR Manager to lead the HR function end-to-end across a multi-site manufacturing operation. You will work closely with senior leadership, acting as a trusted adviser to shape people strategies on the shop floor and in corporate settings.

The role requires strong employee relations, UK employment law expertise, and a proactive leadership style with hands-on on-site engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR across multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong employee relations expertise with complex issues.
• Proven track record of improving HR processes and people practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience supporting change and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the people strategy across multiple sites.
• Act as trusted business partner to senior operational leaders.
• Manage complex employee relations matters and provide expert HR guidance.
• Review and improve HR policies, processes and ways of working.
• Coach and develop line managers to strengthen leadership capability.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and culture improvement.
• Support organizational change and transformation projects.
• Develop the capability of the wider HR team.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practice.
