Aqumen Recruitment, on behalf of our client, invites applications for a Shift Supervisor in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working alongside the Shift Manager, you’ll lead the manufacturing team and help meet production targets, safety and quality standards.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 06:15–14:15, with a salary of £27,500–£28,500; there is clear progression to Shift Manager and opportunities to develop leadership skills within a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a manufacturing/production environment.
• A confident and supportive leader.
• A strong problem solver with a hands-on approach.
• Technically minded and keen to learn.
• Comfortable challenging poor standards or unsafe practices.
• Ambitious and keen to progress into Shift Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams.
• Coordinate people, resources and workflow.
• Monitor production performance and resolve issues.
• Support training, coaching and team development.
• Promote health, safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take increasing ownership of shift operations.
• Provide Shift Manager cover when required.
