Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting for a Shift Supervisor on behalf of a manufacturing client in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. You will support the Shift Manager to lead production teams, drive targets and uphold safety and quality standards.

Suitable candidates have proven leadership in manufacturing, a hands-on, problem-solving approach and a drive to progress into Shift Management. Monday–Friday, early shift with a competitive salary of £27,500–£28,500.

Aqumen Recruitment is working on behalf of our client, a successful manufacturing business in Mirfield, to recruit an ambitious Shift Supervisor.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Senior Operator or Manufacturing Supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills and progress towards a Shift Manager role.

The Role

Working alongside the Shift Manager, you will help lead the manufacturing team and ensure production targets, quality and safety standards are achieved.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting production teams.




• Coordinating people, resources and workflow.




• Monitoring production performance and resolving issues.




• Supporting training, coaching and team development.




• Promoting excellent health & safety and quality standards.




• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.




• Taking increasing ownership of shift operations.
