Job summary

Major Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader for its Ashton-in-Makerfield operation. The role oversees a fast-paced manufacturing team, driving daily production targets and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The position offers rotating shifts (6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm, Mon-Fri) with a pay rate of £13.25 per hour. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train and support staff to optimize daily outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve daily production targets.
• Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Carry out team briefings and provide training and support where required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Liaise with production management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Complete production paperwork and reports accurately.
