Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment, on behalf of our client, invites applications for a Shift Supervisor in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working alongside the Shift Manager, you’ll lead the manufacturing team and help meet production targets, safety and quality standards.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 06:15–14:15, with a salary of £27,500–£28,500; there is clear progression to Shift Manager and opportunities to develop leadership skills within a growing operation.

Aqumen Recruitment is working on behalf of our client, a successful manufacturing business in Mirfield, to recruit an ambitious Shift Supervisor.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Senior Operator or Manufacturing Supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills and progress towards a Shift Manager role.

The Role

Working alongside the Shift Manager, you will help lead the manufacturing team and ensure production targets, quality and safety standards are achieved.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting production teams.
• Coordinating people, resources and workflow.
• Monitoring production performance and resolving issues.
• Supporting training, coaching and team development.
• Promoting excellent health & safety and quality standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Taking increasing ownership of shift operations.
• Providing Shift Manager cover when required.
