Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead capital and infrastructure projects at a modern automated production site. You will manage planning, budgets, procurement, and contractor oversight, taking ownership from concept to commissioning and handover.

This role involves coordinating with OEMs to develop new equipment and infrastructure, plus a hands-on approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification minimum.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering/project roles.
• Experience delivering capital investment projects.
• Experience on a modern, automated production site.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital and infrastructure projects from concept through to handover.
• Oversee planning, budgets, procurement, and contractor management; installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with OEMs to develop new equipment and infrastructure; provide technical design input.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you’ll manage multiple capital and infrastructure projects, covering planning, budgets, procurement, contractor management, installation, commissioning and handover. There is also an element of technical design, working with OEMs to develop new equipment and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification minimum
• Manufacturing engineering/project experience, ideally 5+ years minimum of 3 years
• Experience delivering capital investment projects
• Experienced within a modern, automated production site.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach to continuous improvement
