Job summary
Premier Group Recruitment in North Wales is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production performance and support the introduction of new products. You will work with production, quality and design teams to develop robust manufacturing solutions and drive continuous improvements.
This role offers a hands-on manufacture support balance with project-based process improvement, in a collaborative engineering environment.
Qualifications
- HNC, HND or Engineering degree required.
- Experience with CAD and ERP/MRP beneficial.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to production to minimise downtime.
- Design and optimise manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity and cost savings.
- Support new product introductions ensuring processes are ready.
- Develop tooling, fixtures and production equipment.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on issues and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out process validation and risk assessments.
