Job summary
Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to optimise manufacturing processes and support NPI projects at their Daventry site. You will design process controls, document procedures and introduce in-line production aids to improve throughput.
Strong CAD (SolidWorks) skills and an understanding of engineering drawings are essential. You will create training materials, coach operators, and assist with sourcing new equipment, fixtures, CNC and robot programming, while maintaining
Qualifications
- Good basic education in Maths and English.
- Qualification in Engineering (HNC or above) or time served experience in production engineering role.
- PC Literate, including Word & Excel.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimise manufacturing processes for existing production and NPI projects.
- Design and document process controls and instructions, introduce inline production aids and quality checks.
- Create process documentation and operating instructions; provide training to process operators.
- Support NPI processes (PPAP) and set up BOMs/BOOs on ERP system.
- Assist sourcing of new manufacturing equipment and evaluate jig/fixtures and tooling.
