Job summary

Mars Petcare in Melton Mowbray is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to keep automated and electromechanical systems running while reducing downtime. You will drive fault finding, coach teams, and lead continuous improvement on a fast-paced production line.

Qualifications

• Technical Qualifications: Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related field, with practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing Environments: You know how to troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical systems.
• Proven Problem-Solving Skills: You excel at Root Cause Analysis and fault finding.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PI Process Book, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
• Leadership & Teamwork: You thrive in a collaborative setting and can coach and inspire others.
