Join Our Team as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Mars Petcare in Melton Mowbray. You will maintain and troubleshoot automated electromechanical systems, lead by example, and drive improvements to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

You'll work with ABB/Kuka robotics, Allen Bradley PLCs, and predictive maintenance tools, with strong safety focus and opportunities for training and career growth within Mars University.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related field with practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments; troubleshooting and maintaining complex mechanical systems.
• Proven problem-solving skills (root cause analysis and fault finding).
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PI Process Book, and SAP Planned Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated, electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose breakdowns and ensure timely resolutions to boost productivity.
• Lead by example as Team Leader and Technical Coach to support colleagues.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the operation.
