Job summary

Mars Melton Mowbray is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to keep high-speed automated systems running and to lead troubleshooting to reduce downtime.

The role requires experience in FMCG environments, strong Root Cause Analysis, and proficiency with Excel, PI ProcessBook, and SAP Planned Maintenance. You will mentor peers and contribute to safety and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Requires HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or related field and practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environments with ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
• Proven root cause analysis and fault-finding skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PI ProcessBook, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities
