Job summary

Mars is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our Melton Mowbray site. You will maintain and improve automated electromechanical systems, lead a small team, and drive downtime reductions. The role offers structured development and Mars University for career growth.

Location: Melton Mowbray. Salary range £39,300–£44,300, Welcome Bonus £5,000, plus performance bonuses and strong benefits. Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, join a purpose-driven global company.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or related field with practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environments with complex mechanical systems.
• Strong root cause analysis and fault finding skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PI ProcessBook and SAP Planned Maintenance.
• Leadership and ability to coach and inspire others.

• Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related field, with practical experience.
